Dear Friends of TLOSC:
The summer update of TLOSC is now posted as Version 7 at tmcasebook.org.
Changes: I’m attaching an overview of the changes. Among the major changes are: (1) the Supreme Court opinions in Booking.com are included, (2) Romag Fasteners is included, (3) the geographic priority section has been substantially rewritten, (4) in the expressive uses section, excerpts from the Bad Spaniels case, LV v. Hyundai, and LV v. My Other Bag have been added, and (5) by popular demand, Nitro Leisure has been restored to the first sale doctrine section. Many other changes are listed in the overview of changes.
Proposed Syllabus: The casebook is now far past the stage where all of it can be assigned in a 3- or even 4-credit course. I’m attaching a proposed 3-credit course syllabus if that’s any help.
Physical Copies: Physical copies for sale at cost on Amazon should be available by the end of the month.
Redlines: On the casebook website you can find a full redline of Version 7 as against Version 6.0.
Hope everyone is staying healthy, Barton
